Light

What unit can love be measured in? Light of course. So much light.

This is so darn beautiful from Ryan Adams. Even after love is done, you can't forget or sully its light. You're the better for it, after all. And when you sing a song of beauty (or write a poem or speak of a love honestly) well, you know that's where the truth is.

Oh My Sweet Ryan Adams

Harmonica heartache highs and guitar solos are still in my head from seeing Ryan Adams last week. What a show!

April, Approximately

'Oh look at you now, best I ever seen...'

The sound of April, of spring, of new light, new possibilities, new loves, new feelings, new chapter:

September Sadness

I don't like September. Don't like the seasonal change. Lots of other changes. And the darkness coming in fast.

ie. April

Well it's April  and I think I may just have to post a Ryan Adams song every day for the whole month!

Why? - His southern country-twang music is all sunny days  and open highways and mottled sunspot evenings; on-the-road open wanderings, with the smell of summer on a green horizon and all around, all along, the acoustic trickling of soaring and dipping notes of feelings, like swallows, against a big blue new sky.

- ie, April.
