In Retrospect...

They say it takes an entire calendar year to get over someone. (Well then, I think I've made it.)

And  to be really truly over someone does feel sad but then it becomes something else - a kind of exhilaration, freedom, with all kinds of newness glinting on the horizon.

Hello My Old Heart

Whatever about Easter falling in April, this month to me, is always the one in which the chrysalis on my winter-worn heart is shed. Spring is fully here, and a new year (my birthday falls in April) means new wings eager for flight.

It is like rediscovering your old heart - your oh-so-better beating true self, youthful, vibrant, alive and believing, triumphant free hoping heart!
